When you step into the AZ Toy Store, you just can’t help but feel like a kid in a candy store! They are the East Valley’s best kept secret, but word is getting out… While I enjoyed the festivities at the party, I watched the AZ Toy Store girls work their butts off as they washed more than 30 bikes, helping raise money for the Special Olympics foundation, the main charity of the Arizona Bike Week, Inc. The food, served by Spanky G’s, was a step above the rest as they served premium black angus hamburgers with home-made beans, home-made macaroni salad, home-made cookies and fresh lemonade. What a meal. I got a chance to speak the owner of the AZ Toy Store, Chris Nelson, and really got a bird’s eye view of how effective his business ethics are. “Rather than inflate my prices like other dealers can and do, I practice selling bikes for fair market value while creating relationships with my customers, ultimately building trust for future purchases and referrals.” A wise concept. From the looks of it, the AZ Toy Store has a lot planned for the upcoming year. I can’t wait to see their next event as it really was enlightening to see that this place knows how to have a good time and indulge their fellow enthusiasts as well. |
