You all know me from my editorials so you also know that I am an ex-New Yorker with a real “attitude.” In an age of over-the-top political correctness, don’t count on me to go that route. I say what I mean and mean what I say. You got a problem with that?
I learned to ride on Long Island over 50 years ago. I have always been a gear head and my passion has been bikes, fast boats and even faster cars. My non-lethal pursuits include rock music from the birth of rock in the 50’s, good Italian food and staying one jump ahead of my ex-wives and the IRS! Before starting QT I was in the music publishing business and a sound engineer and produced more then 150 albums and CD's for major artists. I have tried diligently to never do anything for a living that even remotely resembled work! Getting paid to ride around on my Harley or my Indian, bum free meals and flirt with pretty girls falls right into that category.

"I’m Jan, Mike’s wife. As Senior Editor I do more than correct Mike’s grammar mistakes. I put together the Ride Calendar, Biker Buddy Wanabes, Harley Har Har, photo layouts, check proofs, do interviews and look for just the right image for the cover. Sometimes I even get out of the office to go to an event, take photos and meet our readers.
"My background is in Art Design and Journalism, so I enjoy working on the creative aspects of the magazine. It’s a real challenge to get QT to the printer on time every month, but a lot of fun. "
