La Crosse, WI (January 03, 2008) S&S Cycle® announces a three year extension to its agreement with Polaris Industries, Victory Motorcycles. Through this extended agreement, S&S will maintain its status as the exclusive provider of performance aftermarket engine components for the Victory Motorcycle line. Over the last few years, S&S has built a 106ci Hot Set Up™ Kit for Victory® motorcycles that will make close to 40-percent more horsepower and over 20-percent more torque than the stock engine. The kit consists of a flywheel assembly, cams, valve springs, an S&S high flow air cleaner and a downloadable tune file for the fuel injection. Additionally, S&S offers the high flow air cleaner along with its downloadable tune filecapable of about a 10-percent gain in performance.
S&S will still maintain its Victory Dealer Direct distribution strategy. New and upcoming components include a chromed forged primary cover, new exhaust offerings, and airbox compatibility with 2008 model year motorcycles. S&S Research and Innovation engineers are enjoying their development time on the Victory engine and a number of “you-can’t-see this” components have been prototyped. While no plans to bring these items to market have been announced yet, there are some very fast Victory development bikes at S&S with a rather lumpy idle and a deep sound from their exhaust pipes. More Victory/S&S news comes on the heels of this agreement and centers on the 106ci Hot Set Up Kit. First, S&S is pleased to announce a drop in. The MSRP to $2500, making the kit much more desirable for all 100ci Victory owners. Second, S&S now offers installation service of the Hot Set Up Kit in the La Crosse, Wisconsin Remanufacturing Facility. Any Victory dealer can arrange to pull a customer’s engine out, ship it to S&S and have the 106ci kit installed.
